The autofeeder comes with two timing modes: 12h and 24h, although the factory default cycle is set to 12h. By pressing the "Mode/View" key, users can inquire about the current timing mode. If the yellow indicator light flickers for 3 times, it signifies the 12H mode, while 3 flickers of the green indicator light correspond to the 24H mode. Pressing the "Mode/View" key for 3 seconds will change the timing mode, and the corresponding indicator light will flicker 3 times, with the timer automatically resetting to zero.

Pressing the "Start" key will force the autofeeder to rotate for a full cycle and dispense food once. The timer will then automatically reset to zero and start timing from the beginning, but the timing mode will remain unchanged. Users are advised to change the batteries once every six months.

The battery-operated design of the autofeeder makes it easy to place anywhere without the need for a power outlet. (2 x AAA batteries are not included.)
